HETEL general objectives
- Maintain contacts with the Authorities, lobbying them with regard to:
- Opportunities for subsidies for investment in infrastructures, development of training materials, training of trainers and projects relating to ICTs.
- Criteria for legislation regarding distance learning, possible mixed models of face to face and distance training, etc.
- Identify external benchmarks in the use of ICTs
- Identify the appropriate ICT instrument for streamlining and optimising relations between HETEL and its associated schools
- Promote development experiences in the area of the ICT in HETEL schools and facilitate the exchange of know-how between the schools
- Determine possible partnerships with a view to developing options based less on face to face training: identify action criteria and partner profiles
- Give priority to the methodological training of teaching staff
- Help the most advanced schools of the Association gain access to European projects related to distance learning systems and development of multimedia educational materials
- Provide information to the schools and training to trainers in order to enable HETEL schools offer multimedia and distance training in the medium term: contents, methodology and management of the technological infrastructure.
