HETEL is aware that the development and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) is bringing about the creation of new contexts and scenarios in the activities of schools and colleges. For this reason, HETEL has made a reflection and agreed a strategy.

This reflection has been structured in three main areas:

• Use of ICTs in the education process
• Use of ICTs as a communication instrument by trainers and as an internal instrument of communication within the Association
• Use of ICTs as an instrument of relation and management of the internal life of the school.

The medium-term strategy of HETEL has specified HETEL general objectives.

In 2006 HETEL Centres have agreed on some objetives for a 2 year period (ICT Plan).
