DISEINUA – FABRIKAZIOA
This project is aimed at two types of students on higher level vocational training courses: Development of Mechanical Products —DISEINUA— and Machined Manufacturing —FABRIKAZIOA. This is geared firstly towards draughtsmen wishing to design or improve a part (establishing the specifications) and secondly towards workshop students who need to manufacture the designed part and communicate any errors or areas for improvement.
Project characteristics:
The project will involve around 150 vocational training students on Machined Manufacturing courses.
The working teams will be made up of students from different schools who do not know each other to encourage a similar kind of relationship to that found in a regular working environment.
The project uses ITC tools (videoconferencing) and PBL methodology (Problem Based Learning) to ensure the students themselves seek out solutions for the problems that may arise at any stage. This ensures that students take responsibility for their work and the goals they are aiming for by using all the resources within their reach.
