Teachers from the mechanic area of HETEL Schools in the Netherlands

25 mechanic teachers from 12 Hetel schools had the opportunity to visit several VET schools in the Netherlands last April. The project was coordinated by Lea Artibai Ikastetxea and it was financed by the Leonardo da Vinci program and cofinanced by the Basque Government. The main aim of the project called ”Analysis and Assessment of competences in VET in the mechanic area” was to see how the competences of VET students are assessed in the Netherlands.
 
The programme included a visit to the DAF trucks plant in Eindhoven and three visits to three different schools, all members of The Dutch Alliance. The schools were ROC Eindhoven ROC Tilburg and Deltion College in Zwolle. The participants had the opportunity to visit the schools, attend several presentations abot the Dutch educational system and the competenced based assessment system and to exchange opinions with Dutch teachers.
